the error comes up
Error while doing import- This is a first version of error message. Not
much to see here.

So this is maybe what you were getting Greg -

Me and Tomi are guessing that this is because the French FM is running
an earlier version of Book Type.

I tried the same process but importing an epub -
http://fr.flossmanuals.net/_booki/scribus/scribus.epub

And this seemed to import all the chapters in the right order.
