I would like to add that the main problem with translations is not
even about FLOSS Manuals or Booktype.

The problem is the localization of the interfaces of the programs
covered in the manuals. Very often the software is localized
incompletely. That means the manual doesn't look too good either,
since the interface is 50% Finnish and 50% English.

I have been participating in the localization projects from time to
time to get at least a bit better localization for the manuals, but
this takes time and energy that might be better spent doing FM. The
Finnish localization community is already a lot bigger than the
documentation community.
