[FM Discuss] manual not updating

Write access on a directory allows you to remove or add new files within
that directory. If the user that's running your process is not www-data,
but in the www-data group (or some other user entirely), then they won't
have this permission and that might explain why the files are not appearing
under this directory? Might be worth giving w access to the group and see
if that helps?
