Yes, it does sound good! Spanish localization was recently added to
Booktype (albeit a Central American localization, but that's a start).
We also have the beginning of a Spanish manual at
http://en.flossmanuals.net/booktype-es/

We only have until the 15th to apply. Would you like to apply on behalf
of the Flossmanuals Foundation/Sourcefabric jointly, to propose a book
sprint and parallel Spanish translation sprint? I can help with that
proposal.

Hopefully they will consider a book to be a 'tool' worthy of production.
On the plus side, a book sprint is probably a lot easier for local
participants to get involved with than a programming project.
