diaspora looks good. and pump.io has a good chance of getting there in 
some time. statusnet I think is dead from following the threads on 
identi.ca and other sites. Sure, it will live on, but Evan seems to 
concentrate on pump.io. Myself I agree with his logic. statusnet was so 
far regarded by the media and users as a twitter alternative and nothing 
more, although it's superior. The 140 char limit looks silly also. So 
welcome pump.io that can do anything as long at it is a status. Waiting 
for some more features like RSS, XMPP, and so on.
