<div dir="ltr">I'd actually suggest that the revenue generated go towards giving signed (by Adam + some lead developers of whatever is documented - collectors' items!) paper copies of the manual as awards (the FLOSSmanual awards - best graphics, best technical chapter, best translation, etc) instead of cash.<br>

we've already discussed this quite a bit in private chats, but just wanted to publicly chime in and say I'm all for the markup move. Personally, I see a good place for any revenue generated as going towards "chapter bounties", i.e. a bounty paid to any volunteer(s) willing to complete a decent, self-standing chapter of quality material that meets a certain set of standards set by the maintainer (in the case of the Pd Manual, me). Curious what others might think of this idea...<br>

I have no problem with maintainers using the $ to pay people. eg<br>
themselves. However the manuals are a community effort in many cases and<br>
the distribution of the income has to keep this in mind. We will have to<br>
discuss at some point how this is managed. For now it is not an issue,<br>
