Hi all -
Adam grants maintainer rights, right now I am the maintainer on the SugarLabs docs. To get an idea of the Maintainer's role, read http://en.flossmanuals.net/FLOSSManuals/Maintainers. There are several maintainers on this list, but It's not just a permissions-level role, it's wider than that. For now, keep requesting a publish through the discuss list. We can talk with Adam about your role after the book sprint this week.

Thanks Lachlan for publishing - you were quicker on the draw than I could be, this week anyway. :)

Jim, you're correct that Objavi creates a PDF using the latest content. The Publish command simply puts the HTML pages on the "Read" area. Sending out PDFs may be a normal way to get reviews from people.

As for the copyright notice, the setup works that way. If it really bothers you (sounds like it might), we'll see what we can do. And yes, the revisions are available for the world to see, so it's not like people can't figure out who did the real work. :) For most of the books, Adam shows up as "first" in the contributors list, but that's because he creates the outlines like I did for this book. Everyone who contributes will get attributed correctly by the wiki software that runs FM.

Thanks for the work you're doing on the book! It's shaping up nicely. Let me know if you'd like me to work on getting contributors with you.
Anne
