That's great that we got a bump in registrations!

I only took a few pictures:
http://picasaweb.google.com/annegentle/TXLinuxFest#

I counted 42 attendees - plus we had good questions also. It was a 25 minute presentation but we covered everything from book sprints to booki.

We had people walk up and buy all three books right away, others acted surprised we were selling them rather than giving them away, and lots of people want to know how FM is funded. I definitely got the sense that a few people will be coming to the site and looking for books to work on, so be sure to have ideas for people coming on board to work on. I'd probably tell them to update Turtle Art - any other ideas?
this is the coolest thing! i saw a major bump in FM registrations from
the US for both the site and the list for the weekend. wohooo! good
work :))))

this kind of thing is really important for us. the more people getting
out there telling the world about fm, the material available, and how to
get involved - the better :))) it means the content gets used by more
people and there are more contributions. if anyone else wishes to tell
the world about fm at a local event please follow Anne and Janets lead
and just go for it!
