      tomi is suggesting it be compulsory or even a standard thing. <br>

      if you created such graphics for manuals that you're working on
      & then offered them for the wider use of the community, i
      don't see a problem with that. (i've previously suggested that
      there could be a repository of style sheets for use with manuals,
      so such graphics could be part of that - a library of CC content
      available if people want to use it).<br>

                      It/she/him would basically be something to replace
                      all kinds of boring warning and note signs. We
                      could have the mascot look really worried when
                      it/she/he is giving a warning and gleefully happy
                      when it/she/he is offering advice. <br>
