[FM Discuss] Canonical writing conventions (was: CommandLineIntro/WritingConventions)

its not about being a stickler. Its about whether we even tell people
about the conventions. My philosophy is not to tell people about the
rules unless they ask. The people that ask are usually the same people
that go through material and make sure it abides by the rules ie. more
likely to proof content.
