Let us know when you intend to hold your sprint. Some of us may choose
to join in as editors or artists or something.

You don't need permission to create a manual. Make sure that your
sprinters are registered at FLOSS Manuals, and have them look through
the sprint guide. It will be very helpful if they each take part in a
different sprint before you start yours, but it is not essential that
everyone do it.

Any text editor that does word wrap.

Don't do work that will have to be undone and then redone using
markup. Don't attempt to do formatting before copying your text in.
Especially, do not attempt to align columns with tabs and spaces. Lay
out tables in a spreadsheet and paste them into the FM editor. Do not
used tabs or spaces for indents at the beginning of paragraphs.
