hi all,

I am very happy to announce that after much scrapping together of
pennies FLOSS Manuals has its very first part-time worker.

Introducing...Mick Fuzz. Mick has been involved with FM for quite
sometime and recently wrote many manuals on video transcoding,
distribution, and editing. Mick is also a mover and shaker in the
transmission.cc community and recently organised the vxmission
conference in Amsterdam.

Initially the position is for 6 months on a part-time basis, and if I
can find some more $ then we will extend it. I am very very happy to
have Mick on board in this role.

Essentially Mick is onboard to write some content, and help others learn
the process of using FM. This means I will download a lot of what I know
to Mick about how FM works, so if you get stuck you can ask him or me
(well, you can ask anyone!). Mick is also here to help write material.
So if you are writing a manual then you can also ask Mick if he can
help. You can ask him either directly or (preferably) through the list
(Sophea - this might be of interest for the Audacity updates you are
planning). Along side this Mick will write some chapters for various
manuals that him and I will agree on in the next weeks.

As well as extending the content base Micks job will take a load off my
shoulders so I can work on the increasing number of projects that
require my attention - Book Sprints and the Farsi translations being two
notable examples (I have more updates on these soon).

Anyways, I can't overstate how happy I am Mick is on board for this.

So introducing....Mick Fuzz the list, the list - this is Mick :)
