I dont really want to be involved with investors that want a monetary
return. I am much happier being involved with sponsorship from orgs that
will want to use the software. So, from that point of view, why should
they invest? In my mind its because they have a need for the software, a
need that is not being fulfilled anywhere else.

i have a larger doc which i trimmed down for this post. I want to rework
the rest before posting, so I was interested in the tone of these
opening paragraphs...i'll work on the rest and post it...thanks heaps
for the comments :)
