Here are some stats for CiviCRM for the 99 days before Monday. I'm not
going to do this for anyone else -- CiviCRM are lucky because they asked
first.
The total number of PDF downloads: 4937
The total number of visits to /civicrm: 9623
Visits to /CiviCRM/Introduction, which is the same page: 942
(These were generated by running:
zgrep -E 'GET /CiviCRM[^ ]+\.pdf ' access*.gz|wc -l
zgrep -iE 'GET /civicrm/? ' access*.gz|wc -l
zgrep 'GET /CiviCRM/Introduction ' access*.gz|wc -l
in the apache log directory.)
Searching all the logs is slow, so to compare chapters I've used 10
days, each 10 days apart (selected via an 'access*3.gz' pattern).
/civicrm 920 (case insensitive, 786 exact)

The Credits numbers are perhaps half or two thirds search-bots (nobody
sits through the credits). You could arguably treat that as a baseline
for the other chapters, and subtract 15 or 20 from each to estimate
human numbers.
The logs for the editing interface go somewhere else so are not included
here.
