hi,

So, March 11-15 there is going to be a Booki Code Sprint. Doug, Aco and
I are going to be in NZ with the booki GUI and graphic designer to get
the code to beta 1. I have invited Archive.org to send someone, and I
hope also that we can get someone from the Mozilla layout engine team
(mostly based in NZ) to come too...

If there is in anyone in Wellington or nearby that knows Python and
would like to attend or if you are not in NZ and can find $ to come then
please let me know and we can discuss the possibilities...

if anyone would like to contrib remotely then I suggest we work out
beforehand what parts of the code you would like to work on since we
dont really want to co-ordinate so much from the code sprint space (we
really want to focus just on coding)

also, fyi, we will use Booki in the forthcoming Book Sprint (jan 18-22)
in Berlin for Transmediale. Aco is taking time off work and coming to
Berlin for that week (and the 2 days before) to work on Booki to prepare
it for the sprint and to see how it works in action.

im looking forward to both events this very much, they will give booki a
big boost in dev and help consolidate many of the ideas we have been
working on

:)
