I agree that a css solution would be nice, but a js solution allows for 
a few small things that really enhance the experience.

If you can manage something like this it would be great.  Simple, 
lightweight, easily configurable.

I wish I knew JS and could do this - as it is, I have to borrow 
everything I use :(
