[FM Discuss] booki : new layout tools

Hi,
Joshua, this looks good, two problems with it:
1. Even though they look like links, they won't link anywhere, and you can't embed HTML in the 'tooltip'.
2. The script uses images for the rounded corners (but that can be sorted that out with border-radius)
Because JQUERY UI is fully loaded in Booki - why not use that?
On the plus side, Michael Leigeber, the author, has noted in his writing (www.leigeber.com) that the script is free to use and license-free.
Lachlan, are you requesting that roll-over footnotes should be implemented in the formatted Booki PDF?
Then maybe it's going to be an OBJAVI solution - getting the footnotes to appear in the same page as the content, without any rollovers.
Martin

I agree that a css solution would be nice, but a js solution allows for
a few small things that really enhance the experience.
Here's a link to one I used in a website I worked on a while back:
http://sixrevisions.com/tutorials/javascript_tutorial/create_lightweight_javascript_tooltip/
If you can manage something like this it would be great. Simple,
lightweight, easily configurable.
I wish I knew JS and could do this - as it is, I have to borrow
everything I use :(
