[FM Discuss] FLOSS Manuals site interface problem?

Hi. I'm new to using the FLOSS Manuals editing interface, and have found 
my way into the fourth circle of nested list purgatory, a place to which 
all WYSIWIG editors eventually lead me.

According to the editing help page 
(http://en.flossmanuals.net/FLOSSManuals/Editing) I should have a Tools 
section in the left sidebar that has an option to enable text-only 
editing. I don't have that - the only items in my left side bar are 
"Logout" and "Register". (There is also has text that says I am logged 
in, and the GNU logo.)

Is my account borked? I can edit and save my changes. I have a 
mysterious message in the sidebar on the right: "Initializing 
transmission" - is this related to the missing items in the left sidebar?
