Hi Scott:
Just to be clear:

The official Thunderbird Support Forum is:
http://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging
The official Thunderbird Knowledge Base is:
https://support.mozillamessaging.com/

Mozillazine's KB is here:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/
Mozillazine's support forum for both firefox and Thunderbird is here:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/

MozillaZine is an independent, 3rd party website not run by Mozilla and
it has been around far longer than mozillamessaging.com so although
unofficial it's a treasure trove of information and we are lucky to have
them on the web.

And of course being the internet there are many other websites with
Thunderbird (and Firefox) info
e.g. to name just a few
http://www.geckozone.org/ (french)
http://superuser.com/questions/tagged/thunderbird

http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/about/get-involved/ is also a
potential source of information!
