james - tuukkah is trying a few thing sot fix that loading bug...can you 
try this:

<tuukkah> the line in code before the call to xinha_init is this: 
$("#editor").css("display", "block").fadeIn("slow");

<tuukkah> maybe combine those two lines as:
$("#editor").css("display", "block").fadeIn("slow", function() { 
xinha_init(); });


in:

lib/booki/site_static/js/editor.js


and let us know if u see it happen again...it might take some trying....
