[FM Discuss] Reg. publishing visa application procedure as manual

I have been wondering if FM would like to go into some more advanced
technical topics that have been covered by somebody else, but perhaps
the documentation is not exactly very readable or is only available as
a commercial ebook.

Things like PHP programming and all kinds of Linux server admin tasks.
This stuff is what I am working on most of the time and it would make
sense to start documenting it. It is impossible to remember the syntax
of some command without writing it down.

What do people think? I would actually save time by writing this kind
of stuff down. Probably in English, since there would be more
potential contributors available. But manuals like that would never be
completed unless there is a certain amount of contributors?

The amount of scope creep would be horrible since "Linux server admin
manual" would soon include the entire internet.
