Hi Maren:

I will be happy to flesh out the default way of installing Inkscape into a Mac, and mainly focus on that.

I will also be happy to keep this updated, no problem.

And I am all for splitting the 3 OSes into different sections.

I can also help with images and layouting, since I have lots of experience in that area.
