[FM Discuss] Scribus New manual

Hi,

Just a short mail to inform you about the activity of french Floss Manuals.
A new manual is out : Scribus manual.

Floss Manuals Francophone is proud to announce the birth of a new free
manual in French on Scribus, free software dedicated to the professional
desktop publishing. In five day of intensive co-writing, the six authors
have produced the first documentation in French for this software: a manual
that is completely up to date, covering the forthcoming version 1. 4.

Authors from France, Canada, Switzerland and Niger shared their diverse
cultural and professional backgrounds (as printer, graphic designer, editor
and author) providing a broad and comprehensive view of using the software
for publishing. Half of the writing team are also Scribus developers,
and the group's exchanges brought forth several original ideas
for development, so that the manual itself, and the process of writing
it, became a stage in the development of the software.

The booksprint was made possible through funding from the International
Organization of la Francophonie and took place in Strasbourg from 6 to 1 0
July 2011, as part of the Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre.
