The WordPress front end idea was actually a very bad one. It would be
a lot more complicated than the current Bookipublisher and it would be
even harder to admin the sites. Certainly it was yet another brain
fart.

But the front end could be just Booktype publishing a static
html+pdf+epub version of the book to a suitable directory. And then
there should be a list of of published books. So actually it should be
ridiculously simple.
