[Booki-dev] http access to Git repository?

I managed to set up Fedora 13 on a spare computer at work and I plan
to install Booki on it, however at work we have some pretty serious
firewalls and I can't access the Git repository the normal way.
There's a good chance I could access it through HTTP using our proxy
server.  Just changing git:// to http:// in the command doesn't work.
Any ideas?
